Earth Day Hamilton Burlington volunteers rolled up their sleeves and pulled, pushed, chopped, and wrestled invasive Buckthorn out of the ground, helping to protect this important natural area. We joined with Trees For Hamilton and RBG staff and auxiliary for this fun day.
Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup a success!
An amazing 64 volunteers cleaned up the Hamilton Waterfront Trail in the pouring rain!!
22 bags of garbage and 14 bags of were collected, most of it being small items: cigarette butts, plastic bottle caps, straws/stirrers and food wrappers. See our photo album on Facebook and info on the Canada-wide cleanup at http://www.shorelinecleanup.ca
