19th ANNUAL EARTH DAY TREE PLANTING FESTIVAL
Saturday April 18, 2015, 10am-3pm at Churchill Park in the Westdale neighbourhood of Hamilton (corner of Dromore Crescent and Marion Ave N).  Join the community in planting  1,000 trees to restore a natural border to this important forest above Cootes Paradise, one of Canada’s most significant wetlands.  Planting, live music, birds of prey, food vendors, and other activities.  Wear boots, BYO reusable water container, and join us. Register at http://earthdayhamilton.ca/volunteers/volunteer-registration/ to participate in this free event.

HSR Trolley pick up starts between 8:00 – 8:30 am. Leaves at Honest Laywer Restaurant (Jackson Square – 110 King St. W.) every half and hour
stopping at King and Dundurn, and then at the park.

The last pick up from Churchill Park will be at 4:30 pm.
