Hamilton Conservation Authority / TD Bank
The TD Bank is the Title Sponsor of the upcoming TD EcoPark Tree Planting Festival. Hamilton Conservation Authority (landowner) is restoring a brownfield site into a natural area that will be the gateway to the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark. Earth Day Hamilton-Burlington will manage the planting festival for them. TD Bank has a history of orchestrating funding to assist environmental projects.

McQuesten Park is one of Hamilton’s biggest parks located on the mountain near Upper Wentworth and the Linc. It is a mixed use (passive and playing field) park with many young deciduous trees and paved pathways and benches. The City is providing many resources towards making the Earth Day Tree Planting Festival a success. The City is also a partner on our Waste Watcher Program – look for our Waste Streaming Centres at festivals across Hamilton.
Local Hamilton company Refficient keeps reusable products out of landfill. They currently run Phones 4 Trees project. For donations of old cell phones and tablets, trees will be planted. A source for new, refurbished, and used telecom and A/V equipment.
Rotary Club of Burlington Lakeshore
Rotarians work tirelessly with their clubs to solve our community’s toughest challenges and the Burlington Lakeshore Chapter is a great example of this. Their Ribfest proceeds give back to the community with scholarships, as well as support to many different projects in the community.
Hamilton Wentworth Occasional Teachers Local
Provides quality professional, protective and administrative service to the occasional teachers of Hamilton. They support our educational Eco-Festival offering volunteerism and financial support.
